TOSHIRO HIRANO
Iyashi Clinic is a Japanese treatment centre in the heart of Melbourne’s inner northern suburb of Thornbury. The practitioners are Toshiro Hirano and Komei Fujiwara.
Toshiro Hirano’s treatments are a combination of many traditional Eastern techniques: Acupuncture, Shiatsu, Chinese Medicine and Moxibustion. His approach is to initially assess the patient’s problems and symptoms. He then designs a treatment plan to address these needs, using a combination of techniques.
Komei’s approach has a focus on Shiatsu, the ancient Japanese form of massage. Komei has also studied Judo to black belt level, and this informs his technique, with a gentle touch that opens up the muscles, allowing the treatment to work on a deeper level.
Treatments cover a range of issues, from minor aches to chronic pains. It is also effective for stress relief, with treatment techniques that enable complete relaxation.
